Medical Centers nation-wide have created a fitness challenge that started yesterday, May 26, called #FitForTheFrontLine. This event was made to encourage Americans of all ages to get fit and exercise while raising money and awareness for our ‘health care heroes’.

Here’s how you can participate:

  • Make a donation here
  • You can choose any activity, for example:
    • Yoga
    • Walking
    • Running
    • Cycling
    • Outdoor Games
  • Dedicate your activity to Michigan Medicine of another #FitForTheFrontLine organization
    • Post the institution’s donation link
    • Ask you network for support
  • Challenge must be completed from May 26 through June 14

“COVID-19 will not be vanquished overnight, unfortunately. The fight will continue. Our frontline workers will care for and follow patients with long-term effects of COVID-19, and these brave heroes may yet mobilize again to face future outbreaks. They need our support now. No matter what the need is, our communities count on our front lines to be there for them and we will continue to count on our communities to support our front lines.”
